Demi Lovato Love Letter: Demi Marks Sobriety Anniversary, Receives Love Letter From Wilmer
Demi Lovato received a love letter of sorts from her beau, Wilmer Valderrama, on the 3-year anniversary of her sobriety. According to Page Six, the actor took to Instagram to post a very sweet message to his girlfriend, letting her know just how proud he is of her.
“Today, we lay another stone together.. It is now 3 years since you said: I am more important then [sic] any past, demon, disorder or addiction.. Where you decided that YOUR life was worth living while loving yourself.. And I’m sure glad you did… I knew then the woman you’ve become now.. I am proud and honor to be front row to see the world you are about to change. I love you Demi.”
The Demi Lovato love letter didn’t go unnoticed by the singer, either. She also posted a message on Instagram about her love, and about how he has helped her stay sober over the past three years.
“I wish I could put into words how grateful I am for this man right here. But my love has grown to a level that words could never possibly express how much this man completes me. He’s loved me the way I never thought I deserved to be loved and with this day marking my 3rd year sober… After sharing my ups, putting up with my downs and supporting my recovery… he still never takes credit and I want the world to know how incredible his soul is. I really wouldn’t be alive today without him. I love you Wilmer.”
According to Hollywood News Daily, Demi has battled addiction, depression, and an eating disorder over the past several years, but she does seem to be in a good place now. Although she tends to be private when it comes to her personal life, it’s clear that she really loves Wilmer, and she’s not afraid who knows it. She has become a stronger person with him by her side, and it’s obvious that she has his full support in life — and that’s a beautiful thing.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Demi and Wilmer are hoping to be together forever. Fans are anxiously awaiting some special engagement news, as this seems to be what will be next for the lovebirds. Many hope that the two end up together, and keep on encouraging each other to be their best selves.
