Big Sean Would Dress Like A Nazi Before He’d Dress Like A Woman

Big Sean is facing a big backlash after saying that he’d rather dress like a Nazi than a woman. Unsurprisingly, many of the “I Don’t F**k With You” singer’s female fans were not happy to hear him say that dressing like one of the most hated human beings in history is preferable to dressing like his girlfriend.

According to Gossip Cop, Big Sean made his insensitive comment during a recent interview with Real 92.3 radio host Big Boy. For some odd reason, Big Boy decided to ask Big Sean if he’d rather spend six months dressed like a Nazi or a woman. To make the singer’s choice tougher, the radio host added a stipulation: Big Sean wouldn’t be allowed to offer his fans any explanation for his new garb.

“I’d rather dress as a Nazi, because I’m black, so that just don’t make no sense,” the singer responded.

Fans were quick to criticize Big Sean’s choice on Twitter, and many of them agreed that it was insulting to women. Some critics also expressed their hope that Ariana Grande will set her boyfriend straight.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Big Sean said that something he looks for in a woman is a willingness to “read and learn.” Hopefully he’s also willing to learn a little himself. As Jezebel points out, he already has a problem with penning misogynistic lyrics. The site shared a few examples, including one from “Dark Sky” that sounds like a threat.

“B***h, watch how you speak to me.”

Big Sean’s response to Big Boy’s question seems even more ridiculous when you remember that drag queens exist — there are men out there who get paid to dress up like women and sing, and lots of people love them (maybe RuPaul will school Big Sean about this fun, fierce world). There probably aren’t a lot of men out there who get paid to dress up like Nazis to perform for crowds — such a gathering is not a party that many people would want to attend.

Perhaps Ariana Grande will inform her boyfriend that a drag queen actually won the Eurovision Song Contest, one of the biggest music competitions in the world. During a recent interview with the Associated Press, bearded beauty Conchita Wurst said that she’s living her dream after winning faithful fans from all around the globe.

Big Sean also underestimates the reaction his fans would have to seeing him in a Nazi uniform. As Nicki Minaj discovered, it doesn’t matter what a musician’s skin color is — fans don’t react well to any artist using Nazi imagery. Nicki faced a huge Twitter backlash after her fans noted that her “Only” music video looked like it was inspired by old Nazi propaganda films, and the singer had to apologize for the offensive imagery.

Whether Big Sean likes it or not, now he’s dressing up like a woman. In response to his radio interview, Twitter users have been giving his photos feminine makeovers. It didn’t take long for someone to give him Ariana Grande’s signature ponytail.
