Teen Abducted Friend’s Sister: Boy’s Ghastly Plan For 10-Year-Old Girl Thwarted By Police

In a disturbing story out of O’Fallon, Missouri, a teen abducted his friend’s sister for ghastly plans to murder her, police say. Seventeen-year-old John Classen kidnapped his friend’s 10-year-old sister, but he was stopped when police managed to set up a checkpoint blockade. Authorities found the girl inside Classen’s vehicle, reports CBS Local.

The boy reportedly became “infatuated” with the 10-year-old over the years. His cell phone apparently had disgusting details of his elaborate plan.

As one of the excerpts in police possession read: “Take her to a secondary location, explain everything to her, smother her, rape her dead body, clean up and then pose the body … photograph her, dispose of her body, leave town.”

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, all of the events leading up to the teen abducting his friend’s sister broke out Friday. Classen allegedly forced his way into the victim’s home after midnight and staked out in the basement about four hours before sneaking upstairs to kidnap the girl, where he knew she was sleeping on the sofa. The abduction happened at 5:23 a.m.

A struggle between Classen and the girl unfolded, which caused a commotion. The family dogs were awakened after the two fell down the stairs. The girl’s mom was able to get a look at the abductor as he raced with her to his car. Her mother notified police.

After the teen abducted his friend’s sister, the girl’s brother said Classen drove her to a wooded area first and left with her in the car. Classen faces charges of child kidnapping, burglary, and two counts of child abuse, the report states. Other than hurting her ankle and suffering some bruises from falling down the stairs during the kidnapping ordeal, the girl is said to be okay.

In a bit of background to this story, the girl’s brother says his friend posted a message on social media last year that he thought his sister was cute and that he believed he was in love with her.

“I took it in the best possible way and thought he was just being friendly,” the girl’s brother said.

Classen admitted to authorities that he stalked the girl on several occasions. He planned to hideout in a foreclosed home and steal money and cars to survive after the unspeakable crime.

One last note on the teen’s phone read, “She will die as she lived, my only friend. The darkness has engulfed everything … I’ll miss you.”

In this instance where a teen abducted his friend’s sister, she was lucky authorities were able to save her from a horrific death.
