Jessa Duggar Seewald Pregnant? New Interview Points To The Possibility Of A New Duggar Baby [Video]
The most recently wed Duggar, Jessa Seewald, recently gave a phone interview with the FM100 Memphis morning show and discussed all things Duggar. However, there is one part of the interview that Jessa seemed to skate around quite nicely involving the possibility of pregnancy. Jessa would not directly answer the question about whether or not she was pregnant, instead she kept changing the subject to adoption and God’s will.
In the interview above you can listen as Jessa Seewald from the TLC reality series 19 Kids and Counting discusses life as a newlywed. Of course, one of the first questions the interviewers ask about is pregnancy. The Duggar family is known for their conservative Christian values and their aversion to birth control. In a previous interview, Jessa says that the couple is not using any birth control and will accept as many children as God chooses to give her. Therefore, many have questioned whether or not the couple may be expecting.
The interviewers get right to the juicy stuff asking, “Is there any big news you want to tell us?” The question obviously is in regards to a possible pregnancy. Jessa responds with a seemingly straightforward, “Well, not really. Not yet. We are looking forward to starting a family but we don’t have any news to share yet.” However, when pressed, the answer becomes a little more blurred. The female interviewer says, “So you aren’t pregnant yet?” Jessa simply laughs so she is asked, “So, is that a no?” Instead of outright answering the question, Jessa simply says, “we are looking forward to kids and also adoption.”
As you can see from the conversation, it seems that Jessa may have been skirting around the question to avoid having to disclose an early pregnancy. She never says she is not pregnant. She simply says she has no big news she is ready to share yet and that she looks forward to children in the future.
Though Jill Duggar decided to announce her pregnancy early on, many couples wait until the first trimester is over to announce pregnancy after the chance of miscarriage decreases significantly.
