‘Scream Queens’ Scoop: Joe Manganiello Out, Oliver Hudson In

Looks like Ryan Murphy’s Scream Queens is getting its cast together. That said, one mega hot star won’t be in it as originally anticipated. Magic Mike star Joe Manganiello has exited the upcoming FOX series.

According to Deadline, Manganiello is being replaced by Nashville star, and Kate Hudson’s older brother, Oliver Hudson. Manganiello was said to exit the series due to his very hectic schedule that he has set up for promoting Magic Mike XXL.

FOX’s Scream Queens cast doesn’t begin and end with Oliver Hudson — it’s truly a star studded cast. The original scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis is starring alongside Emma Roberts (American Horror Story). The pair will be joined by Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine), Lea Michele (Glee), Keke Palmer (Masters of Sex), and former Mulaney star and SNL alum Nasim Pedrad.

So far we don’t know much about the roles, but considering Ryan Murphy’s talent for turning out nail-biting episodes of American Horror Story, we’re confident that he will create another amazing spooky series. The cast doesn’t hurt either.

As for the Magic Mike star, this isn’t the only time we’re hearing about Manganiello’s busy schedule. As the Inquisitr reported, Manganiello and Sofia Vergara are rushing to plan the proper wedding so they can fit it in before Joe has to go back to work on Magic Mike XXL. Although the film has wrapped, everyone is expecting a huge promo blitz for the film. Seeing as the sequel is about a stripper expo we can only guess what they plan to put Joe Manganiello, Channing Tatum, and Donald Glover through for publicity.

As far as Manganiello and Vergara’s future is concerned, it looks like even though the two are incredibly busy, they’re still trying to fit everything in. It’s said that the couple have found the perfect surrogate for their first child together. The surrogate is said to be Vergara’s friend, but the couple is keeping the woman’s name private.

At the time the source said, “Sofía is friends with this woman and spends a lot of time with her, so she can watch the pregnancy firsthand as if it were her own.”
