Chris Soules Admits He Was Very Hurt By Becca During ‘Bachelor’ Finale

Bachelor star Chris Soules proposed to Whitney Bischoff on Monday’s finale of the season, and the two seemed very happy together. Whitney had been hoping that Chris would pick her to live on the farm in Iowa, but she may not have realized Soules’ struggles with Becca. Unlike other finale episodes, Soules didn’t seem as certain that Whitney was the right choice.

When Chris Soules appeared on After the Final Rose with Whitney, some viewers felt that they were awkward and not as happy. She admitted that she hadn’t seen the episodes, so she may not have known how much Chris had struggled about who to choose as his future wife during the finale. Soules seemed more interested in Becca Tilley, even though she was a risky choice.

According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report, Bachelor star Chris Soules is now opening up about his feelings during the finale, and he admits that he was actually hurt about how Becca wasn’t committed fully like Whitney.

“I knew she wasn’t ready for the kind of commitment I was ready for, but I didn’t know that I would be able to say goodbye to what we had,” Chris Soules has revealed, adding, “Saying those words to her was painful, but what almost hurt even more was the lack of emotion she showed in that moment. I knew then, deep in my heart, I was making the right decision. I need someone I can relate to emotionally, on a deep, deep level, and I just don’t think Becca is there yet.”

Of course, Chris Soules was scared to choose her because she admitted that she had never been in love before. Soules wanted someone with some experience, because Becca couldn’t even say that she wanted to be with him. She needed more time – time that Soules couldn’t give her.

Since leaving the show, Chris Soules has been posting pictures of himself with Whitney, showing the world that he is indeed happy with his future wife. According to the Inquisitr, Becca has admitted that she wasn’t actually sure about the proposal. Maybe she really didn’t want to move to Iowa and be with Soules. Tilley seems happy with her decision to stay single and wait for that perfect person for her.
