Kim Kardashian Accused Of Swagger Jacking Jelena Karleusa’s Platinum Blonde Hair & Chic Style
Kim Kardashian has been accused by a Serbian pop star for stealing her signature platinum blonde hair and chic street style. Jelena Karleusa, 36, believes that she’s the inspiration behind Kardashian’s, 34, new look, according to a new report. Karleusa posted side-by-side comparisons on her Instagram account to show the similarities between their look. From there, she accused the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star for copying her fashion sense.
The singer currently has 369,000 followers on Instagram. Karleusa claims that she’s been working in the music industry for 20 years and currently has 10 studio albums under her belt. She’s also one of the best-selling artists in Eastern Europe, according to Us Weekly. Karleusa was dubbed as the “Gaga of Serbia,” in the 2013 issue of W magazine.
Most people in the U.S. are unfamiliar with Jelena Karleusa. But now it sounds like she’s trying to make a name for herself by latching onto Kim Kardashian’s household name. Some fans think it’s just a coincidence that both of the blondes share a penchant for sexy and chic black clothing.
The singer and Instagram model shared a photo of herself and Kim Kardashian in the same black fur coat and mini skirt.
Jelena captioned the photo: “Will the real slim shady please stand up! Ps (I am the one on the left) #Illtakeitasacompliment @kimkardashian #itsnotjustthehair.” Even Kim’s former BFF, Blac Chyna, reportedly liked the photo that Jelena shared on the social networking site.
Kardashian rocked this chic street style look during Paris Fashion Week on Thursday, March 12. It was one of the recent looks that caught Karleusa’s eye.
As you can see from the comparison photos, their style and platinum blonde hair is eerily similar. Jelena and Kim also look very similar in the face. The pop singer also loves to wear sheer clothes, oversized sunglasses, crop tops, and plunging necklines. Some would say that it’s hard to tell Jelena and Kim apart.
Karleusa didn’t stop there. She was obviously enjoying the attention she was getting on Instagram. She shared a collage of photos of herself and Kardashian’s recent looks. She included the caption: “Let’s play a game – FIND ME!”
Karleusa doesn’t think Kardashian or West didn’t completely jack her style. She thinks that someone from her management team looked at her Instagram account for style inspiration.
She told Us Weekly her thoughts Kim’s new look: “I think that her stylists are inspired by my IG page, not her.”
When it comes to Jelena’s personal style, it’s all her own. She doesn’t look elsewhere for inspiration. “I don’t have a stylist, I do it all by myself.”
The singer doesn’t want to start a fight with Kim. In fact, Jelena thinks that the newly blonde beauty looks good in her signature style. “She is beautiful, so it doesn’t matter if she put anything on her head. She doesn’t need hair at all.”
Kardashian has enough to worry about these days. The Inquisitr previously reported that she’s planning to leave Kanye West in the “messiest custody battle” ever. Rumors are still swirling that the couple isn’t happy, and she intends to leave him soon.
