Katy Perry Poses As a Mermaid For New GHD Ad
Want to sell hair products? Why not dress up Katy Perry like a Mermaid? Photographer David LaChapelle just just created a new ad for the new ghd Air featuring Ms. Perry with a fish tail.
Perry said:
“David La Chapelle made the set amazing. It was fun — I got to have purple hair which foreshadowed the real purple hair I had last fall. It’s as if Lisa Frank had done ‘The Little Mermaid.'”
Perry told Marie Claire that she was a big fan of Disney movies and that she loved dressing up as mermaid. Perry also said that she might keep the costume for a future Halloween.

Perry is currently finalizing her divorce from Russell Brand. Brand reportedly filed his papers today and the divorce will be finalized by a judge this June after a 6-month waiting period.
The Inquisitr reported earlier that Brand and Perry did not file a prenup before their marriage which means that Brand is entitled to nearly $20 million. Brand, however, said that he won’t be taking any of Perry’s money.
