In recent months, Giuliana Rancic has become the target of skinny shamers and anorexia accusers. Now Rancic is fed up with the discussion of her weight loss, and she’s firing back, reported the Daily Mail.
Giuliana contended that she’s not sick, and that she has a rapid metabolism. But social media comments telling her to eat a hamburger or claiming that she has an eating disorder motivated Rancic to finally respond to the media about what she really thinks.
“All these people were commenting, ‘She’s so skinny, eat a sandwich, eat a burger, and it was interesting,'” mused Giuliana.
“I don’t respond but so many people get really upset and they’re like, ‘Oh really? Eat a sandwich? What a great comment.'”
Rancic insists that she doesn’t diet.
“I always thought it would catch up to me and it hasn’t quite yet,” she said of eating what she wants. “I’m not trying to be cocky. Anyone who knows me knows I am the least arrogant person. I’m just trying to be honest.”
But those on Twitter weren’t impressed by her comments.
“Giuliana’s jumpsuit is AMAZE but g*dd*mmit she is so disgustingly skinny.”
“Giuliana Rancic is so skinny!! She looks sick. What’s up with that??”
“#giulianarancic needs to eat a fully loaded baked potato on the fly.”
However, Rancic previously told the Huffington Post that she stopped counting calories and cutting carbohydrates after her breast cancer diagnosis.
“I eat lots of bread, and I don’t exercise as much. Life is to be enjoyed, not spent in the gym every day and not to be counting your calories.”
But for Rob Kardashian, counting calories has become the mantra from fat-shamers since the son of Kris Jenner gained a noticeable amount of weight, reported In Touch.
While Giuliana copes with body bullies trying to humiliate her about her slim body, Rob is feeling humiliated by those commenting about his weight gain. And he’s so embarrassed that he turned down an offer to appear on The Biggest Loser and get professional help from their trainers, said a source.
“Rob didn’t want to humiliate himself,” said the insider.
Although Rob is surrounded by sisters on diets, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian have been successful in achieving their weight loss goals, as the Inquisitr reported. Kim works out regularly with a personal trainer and uses a low-carb diet, while Kourtney claims that placenta pills are her key to restoring her pre-baby body and energy.
What do you think? Is it bullying and cruel for people on Twitter to make comments telling Giuliana Rancic that she is too skinny and Rob Kardashian that he needs to lose weight? Or are they trying to motivate these celebrities to get healthy? Post your comments below.
