‘Zelena’ Engaged? Zedd Calls Selena Gomez ‘Perfect’ And ‘Extremely Inspiring’
Fans have been wondering if Selena Gomez and Zedd are engaged to be married. The singer was photographed with a diamond ring on her ring finger on Wednesday, March 11, according to Celebrity Dirty Laundry. That made rumors spread that Selena is engaged to DJ/producer Zedd. Even though the 22-year-old has only been dating the 25-year-old Zedd for a few months now, it hasn’t stopped fans from wondering if the couple has been getting serious lately.
MTV News said that Gomez is not engaged to Zedd. She reportedly wore the ring to catch her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber’s attention. Gomez was happily flashing her diamond ring as she went to the Louis Vuitton show at Paris Fashion Week, as you can see from the photos posted on the MTV News site. The singer is not ready to walk down the aisle with Zedd just yet though.
A source spoke with Hollywood Life about the Selena Gomez and Zedd engagement rumors. The source said that Selena wanted to send a message to Justin.
“Selena knows wearing a ring on that finger is going to get attention. She knows it’s going to make everyone ask questions and she knows it will get back to Justin. She still wants his attention.”
A rep also confirmed that “Selena Gomez is not engaged.” It doesn’t sound like a healthy way to treat her past relationship. Some would say that Gomez should spend all of her time and attention on Zedd rather than her ex-boyfriend.
Meanwhile, Zedd has some sweet words to say about his rumored girlfriend Selena Gomez. He reportedly called the former Disney star “perfect” and “extremely inspiring” in a recent interview.

The DJ talked to Power 96.1 about how the two first worked together on their hit song “I Want You To Know.”
“We started working on the song together and recorded her vocals and realized that it sounds perfect, so I never tried anyone else on the song and it happened to be the first single from my album.”
That’s not all that Zedd said about Gomez. He also said that he finds her “extremely inspiring.”
“I learned that she’s extremely talented with dealing with being in the press all the time and being everywhere and not being bothered by that. I find it extremely inspiring that you can kind of shut off and do your thing and not be bothered by other people.”
Zedd also did an adorable impression of Selena in the behind the scenes video of “I Want You To Know.”
The music video was already released earlier this week. The new video shows a sweaty Gomez dancing alone in the night club, as Zedd sits in the corner and watches her. Some fans were reportedly disappointed by the new Gomez and Zedd music video.
