‘Five Nights At Freddy’s 3’ Hits Mobile: How To Get The Popular Game In Google Play Store And App Store

Five Nights At Freddy’s 3 is finally available for mobile users.

The popular game, which was released on Steam last week for PC users, just hit the Google Play Store on Wednesday and is expected get a release on iOS very shortly as well.

It is already highly anticipated. On Wednesday, Gamezebo called Five Nights At Freddy’s 3 one of the “Top 5 iOS Games You Should Be Excited About,” writing as follows.

“We don’t often put speculation in our ‘coming tonight’ posts, but we’d also have a really hard time believing that FNAF 3 won’t be coming to the App Store tonight. The game launched on Android earlier this week, and on Steam 10 days ago … which is exactly how many days were between the Steam and iOS releases of Five Nights at Freddy’s 2.”

The surprise release of the third edition of the Five Nights At Freddy’s series generated quite a bit of attention and spawned dozens of YouTube playthroughs.

There had already been some details of the game floating around the internet. Before completing Five Nights at Freddy’s 3, developer Scott Cawthon tried to get a Kickstarter campaign going to support the project. Though it only ended up getting two backers and had to fold, it gave some hints about what the game would include.

“I grew up in the golden age of animatronic pizza places, and while I LOVED those places, they still scared the hell out of me! I always knew that there were creepy robots underneath those giant costumes. I think that fear was shared by most of the other kids too.

Five Nights at Freddy’s embodies that fear, putting you in the role of a security guard working the night shift at a local pizza place which features three large robotic mascots, all of which tend to misbehave at night.

From your small office you must watch the security cameras carefully. You have a very limited amount of electricity that you’re allowed to use per night. That means when you run out, you can no longer secure the doors or use the lights. If something isn’t right — namely if Freddybear or his friends aren’t in their proper places, you must find them on the monitors and protect yourself if needed. You can only have one door secured at a time, and only view one camera at a time; or you will use too much power.”
