Nazis Bombed German Cities As Target Practice, Killed Thousands Of Their Own Citizens

Newly discovered documents have alleged that the Nazis killed thousands of German citizens during World War II, simply because they were testing different rockets.

This information has come to light thanks to recently discovered SS documents that were written in coded German.

The Daily Mail have reported that these files reveal that Adolf Hitler and his fellow Nazis decided to use German towns and cities that were packed with residents to see how much damage could be caused by V-2 missiles, which, when powered right, could travel as far as 200 miles.

The unit in charge of this destruction was called Kommandostelle S, and barely any other information about their efforts during the war are known.

Kommandostelle S were tasked with testing these missiles throughout 1944 and 1945, as Hitler and the Nazis looked to learn just how capable their bombs were as they found themselves being overwhelmed by Allied forces.

They were thought to have been Hitler’s last attempt to seize control of the war, while the carnage that these bombs caused was then blamed on the Allies.

These documents, which were limited to 10 to 12 copies and should have been destroyed by the Nazis when they were on the eve of defeat, are set to be auctioned off in London next week, and it’s even been estimated that they could fetch upwards of $4,000.

The uncovered files claim that the test firing were aimed at German cities and towns in the area of Pomerania. Richard Westwood-Brookes, who is the spokesperson for London’s Chiswick Auctions, stated that the most remarkable discovery about these files is “that many of these test firings were fired at German targets.”

Westwood-Brookes noted that these test firings “resulted in considerable casualties and substantial damages to houses and other properties.”

He also explained just how significant this archive is, stating that if the Nazis had been able to get to grips with this technology, they could have gone on to win the Second World War.

“The V-2 was the first truly ballistic missile which might have brought victory to Hitler had he won the race to develop the atomic bomb in 1945.

The present archive could prove to be a highly important new source of information on what was by far the most important technological and scientific development to have come from the Second World War.

The V-2 was the first real ballistic missile. Its effects were devastating. Had Hitler been successful in developing the technology of the atomic bomb then he would have had the capability of firing it long distances.

With the use of this rocket – unquestionably this would have led to the Nazis winning the war.”

The documents also prove that the missiles were fired from the Peenemunde region of Germany, which is located in the north-west of the country. Meanwhile, some fired also managed to claim the lives of people living in London, Antwerp, and Liege.
