Lisa Hochstein Is Thrilled Over Baby News: ‘RHOM’ Star ‘Almost Lost Hope’

Lisa Hochstein and her husband, Lenny, were seen struggling to conceive a child on Season 3 of The Real Housewives of Miami, and while the reality star has yet to get pregnant, she and her husband will soon welcome their first child.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Lisa Hochstein and her husband have chosen surrogacy in an effort to start a family together after years of infertility struggles, which included three miscarriages and four failed IVF attempts.

In an interview with Us Weekly in February, Lisa Hochstein announced her and Lenny’s “unbelievable” baby news.

For years, Lisa Hochstein and her husband have been determined to start a family, and finally, their dream came true.

“We felt that we tried almost every option available to us except surrogacy. Adoption was a consideration if this didn’t work.”

As she awaits the birth of her first child, Lisa Hochstein spoke to E! News, revealing her excitement in becoming a mother.

“She is four months [or] 16 weeks,” Lisa Hochstein revealed to E! News on March 10.

“We should know [the sex] soon. It almost doesn’t seem real. We had almost lost hope. It was so frustrating and depressing. Now, we’re just so ecstatic. It’s our biological child. 100 percent ours. We’re simply using a surrogate to carry it.”

The Real Housewives of Miami star and her husband currently live on the exclusive Star Island in Miami, where they recently knocked down a home and built their own from scratch. While the house isn’t quite complete, Hochstein confirmed it would soon have at least one nursery, and, of course, a seriously large closet — with direct access to the nursery.

Also in her interview with E!, Lisa Hochstein spoke about the possibility of returning to Bravo for a fourth season of The Real Housewives of Miami.

“Never say never. I’m just happy if my doing the show helped other women deal with their fertility struggles. That’s the most rewarding part.”

Over one year ago, Lisa Hochstein’s co-star, Alexia Echevarria, spoke to E! News, claiming there would “definitely” be a Season 4 of the series.

“I have spoken to producers and they are currently working on dates for taping, since we usually begin taping this time of year we were told taping is being pushed back a little.”

The third season of The Real Housewives of Miami aired in 2013.

Lisa Hochstein’s baby is due on August 1.
