Shia LaBeouf Engaged? Meanwhile, Terminix Begs Him To Exterminate Rattail

Shia LaBeouf – he of the rattail, public drunkenness and bizarre performance art – may be engaged to model girlfriend Mia Goth.

The telltale signs that LaBeouf and Goth are engaged were seen Monday at Los Angeles International Airport, when Goth was caught sporting what could be a diamond on her ring finger, Hollywood Life reported.

The pair have been an item for about two years, after the possibly engaged LaBeouf and Goth met on the set of the Nymphomaniac films; the indie movies stirred up plenty of controversy for featuring real sex. Goth was 19 at the time; she is seven years LeBeouf’s junior.

Hollywood Life pointed out that Shia’s romance with the British model/actress has been fairly low-profile compared to his other flings. He dated Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps co-star Carey Mulligan for a time; they split in 2010, apparently because she wanted marriage and children and he didn’t. LaBeouf followed this relationship with Megan Fox, Rihanna and Hilary Duff.

Whether or not LaBeouf is engaged, however, isn’t the biggest news in the actor’s life this week. That honor goes to the question: Will LaBeouf chop off his now-infamous rattail for the wedding ceremony?

If Shia wants to donate $10,000 to charity he will.

That’s right – so offensive has Shia’s sudden rattail been to the general public that pest extermination company Terminix has offered to donate the money to a charity of LaBeouf ‘s choice – if he just cuts off his new, and some say disturbing, hair accessory, the Daily Mail reported.

And the company is having a bit of fun with their offer.

“Just like we refuse to let rats plague homes, we refuse to let this emerging trend of rat tails plague our society. It must be stopped! Shia LaBeouf appears to be the leader of this movement, and we are making him the following offer: Remove your rat tail, and the charity of your choice gets $10,000.”

Evidently, this is very serious proposal. No word yet on whether LaBeouf will take them up on it. As for his own possible proposal, neither Shia nor his potential bride-to-be have confirmed the rumors that they’re engaged.
