Shirley Manson Slams Kanye West? Frontwoman For Garbage Trashes Singer As ‘Loudest Clown In Town’ [Video]

Shirley Manson and Kanye West aren’t exactly in the Best Friends Forever (BFF) category. So when the frontwoman for Garbage let loose with some trash talk about an enemy whom she did not name, many are assuming that Shirley is slamming Kanye, reported the Huffington Post.

Shirley initially winged her words at West when he put down Beck after the Grammy Awards. Kanye then fought back with an email to her. And although West did apologize to Beck, Manson is not forgiving and forgetting.

Using Facebook as her messenger, Shirley posted an open letter.

“He who shall remain nameless,” she began in a salutation assumed to be Kanye.

“What alarms me more than anything about your nasty little barbs is that you are in the business of representing artists interests and yet you are clearly unaware that not all musicians are obsessed with the charts or being famous. That some of us just enjoy making music and having a long lifespan of a career without having to dance as fast as we can, or be the loudest clown in town or be having to hitch ourselves to the latest, greatest, freshest sound in order to remain ‘on top.'”

After a long discussion of her views about the singer’s family and his musical talent (or lack thereof), Shirley concluded with a succinct wish for his future.

“So now then sir, that all said, Go F**K yourself.”

However, after Us Weekly reported a similar story, a representative responded stating that the singer described on Manson’s Facebook page was not Kanye.

But no one is denying that Shirley’s initial attack was directed to Kanye after he dashed onto the stage when Beck won Album of the Year, contending later that Beck should hand over the trophy to Beyoncé.

“Dear Kanye West,” wrote Manson in the original Facebook post.

“It is YOU who is so busy disrespecting artistry. You disrespect your own remarkable talents and more importantly you disrespect the talent, hard work, and tenacity of all artists when you go so rudely and savagely after such an accomplished and humble artist like BECK.”

So what does Kanye himself really think about his life? As the Inquisitr reported, West has a dream of becoming the next Steve Jobs, but for the fashion world.

In addition to pursuing his musical career, Kanye recently broke into the fashion industry by teaming up with a shoe manufacturer, Adidas. But now he’s taking his imagination further by envisioning himself as the creator of all sorts of fashion.

“One of my dreams was to be the head creative director of The Gap. I’d like to be the Steve Jobs of The Gap,” revealed West.
