Country Singer Randy Travis Arrested For Public Intoxication [Mugshot]
Country singer Randy Travis had too much to drunk on Sunday night and by Monday morning he was being taken into custody by law enforcement agents for partaking in too much alcohol.
The famed country singer was arrested and charged with public intoxication early in the morning in Sanger, Texas when he reportedly smelled of alcohol, was slurring his words and was caught clutching to an open bottle of win which he was drinking in front of a church.
Travis, 52, was parked in his car and told police that he had just gotten into a fight with his girlfriend.
A police officer told NBC 5 DFW:
“Mr. Travis was unaware of his location and kept asking me to take him home.”
In his mugshot the Hard Rock Bottom of Your Heart singer looked down right grumpy with a furrowed brow and half-grin. I have to hand it to the country singer, he knows how to take a photo, even when belligerent and being booked by police.
Randy was not charged with a DUI and was released on a misdemeanor charge just a few hours after being booked.
