‘Bates Motel’ Season 3 Spoilers: Caleb Returns, More Dark Secrets Revealed

Bates Motel fans are in luck. Season 3 of the hit A&E series is back and the drama and creepiness is going to be greater than ever. Recent spoilers for the show reveal that old characters will return to Norman and his family’s lives and new secrets will surface that are sure to shock the Bates family and viewers.

According to the Interneational Business Times, Norman Bates won’t be the only one dealing with serious parent drama this season. Norman’s older half-brother, Dylan, will also be going through a lot of issues. Dylan and his mother Norma have also had tension between them, but when she finally spilled the beans that Dylan’s father was none other than her very own brother, Caleb, who had raped her as a young woman, things went from bad to worse.

This season Caleb will be back to stir up trouble, and unlike last time, Caleb seems to be in White Pine Bay to stay. Which will likely have Norma going off the deep end, and taking her anger out on both Dylan and Norman. Co-creator Carlton Cuse elaborates.

“He is a series regular this season so you’re going to be seeing a lot of him. It’s not a simplistic relationship … he’s not just a bad guy. We just didn’t paint him with one color, and I think a lot of this season is untangling all of the layers of the relationship that he has with Norma and also with Dylan, his son.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Bates family will really be put through the ringer this season. Co-creator Kerry Ehrin reveals that some more dark secrets about our favorite dysfunctional family will begin to seep out, and will likely shock viewers even more than the series already has.

“We are looking more inside the family relationships this year, inside more dark secrets, and we will find out a lot more about who these enigmatic characters are. Why we’re so fascinated by them and what made them the way they are.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, fans really love the twisted and creepy ways of Bates Motel, and can’t wait to dive in to Season 3. The series, which is meant to be a modern day prequel to Alfred Hitchcock’s thrilled Psycho has become a favorite among TV junkies, and viewers can not wait to find out what secrets will come out this time around in White Pine Bay.
