Chris Hemsworth SNL Videos: A Jacked Thor Flexes Thru AmEx Ad, Plays Adult Film Star [Video]

Chris Hemsworth was a hoot and a holler on SNL Saturday night, especially in an “American Express Ad – SNL” video that’s going viral on YouTube at the moment. Enjoying more than 7,000 views on YouTube in the six hours since it was uploaded to the Saturday Night Live YouTube channel, the video shows Hemsworth flexing and flirting his way through Hollywood in a hilarious skit that speaks of Chris wandering around Hollywood for days — not months or years — prior to receiving an $8 million check to play Thor. The hilarity of the Hemsworth SNL spot comes not only in Chris’ funny acting as he gets out of a car and flexes his muscles whilst pretending to mess with his own hair and flirt with all the women fawning over him — from make-up artists to hangers-on — but also in the writing the Saturday Night Live sketch contains.

At one point in the SNL video, Hemsworth throws on a pair of shades and declares, “Boom!” It’s a move that proves his prettiness is everlasting.

“I wasn’t always Thor. When I got to Hollywood they said I would never make it as an actor. They said I was too tall, too blonde…my muscles were too big [insert Chris’ flex zone action here].

It’s at this point in the now-viral video wherein the humor of the Hemsworth SNL piece comes shining through, along with Chris’ signature accent from the land Down Under.

“It didn’t happen overnight for me. I bounced around Hollywood for days. Then someone stopped me on the street and said, ‘Come with me. You’ve gotta be Thor.'”

In the SNL video, not only are women taken aback by Hemsworth’s beauty, but guys hanging around the set stop mid forkful of food to admire his perfection as well.

“When I auditioned they said, ‘Um, we’re looking for a Thor type, not actual Thor.’ Then everybody laughed. Then they gave me a check for $8 million.”

According to Us magazine, another popular video of Chris’ appearance on SNL showed Hemsworth playing an adult film star, a skit that gave him the perfect opportunity to show off his body and rippling muscles. In that popular video, Chris plays a less-than-brilliant guy who hawks products to help a person’s manhood, and constantly asks, “Did someone say, ‘What’s that smell?'” prior to his character’s cue to enter the fake scene.

If a jacked Australian with a perfect face can make it, anyone can.

The Hemsworth SNL promos, as reported by the Inquisitr, showed Chris failing at lifting an SNL co-star into a Dirty Dancing type of dance pose.
