Bobbi Kristina Brown remains in a comatose state, as the world around her continues to spiral out of control. The family has been extremely tight-lipped about her condition and the ongoing criminal investigation, but now someone is speaking out and that person is her boyfriend, Nick Gordon.
However, unlike the family members who have interviewed with news outlets and offered updates via social media, Nick is taking a different route. Although he’s taken to Twitter with several statements about Bobbi Kristina, now he’s taking things a step further.
Last week, the Daily Mail reported that Nick would sit down for a televised intervention with Dr. Phil. The intervention was reportedly staged by his mother who is working vigorously to help turn his life around in wake of the recent events surrounding Bobbi Kristina’s near-drowning. Since it’s no secret that Bobbi Kristina and Nick have both battled drug and alcohol addiction, an intervention would seem highly essential, right?
Well, apparently, Nick’s intervention didn’t exactly go as planned. Several jaw-dropping details about the interview have been revealed. Although a clip of the intervention was released via YouTube on March 6, there was reportedly more to it than Nick’s sadness and tears. There was also incoherence and rage.
According to TMZ, a distraught Nick who is reportedly facing the possibility of attempted murder charges, was nearly incapable of conducting the interview. From the time he landed at the airport, he was unable to pull himself together. Nick was reportedly transported on a luggage cart because he couldn’t walk without staggering.
Inside sources also shared details about his behavior throughout the interview. Nick reportedly struggled to complete his sentences so his mother stepped for the majority of the interview, speaking on his behalf. She admitted that he struggles with his addiction to Xanax and that he is also an alcoholic.
When Nick finally realized the interview was part of his mother’s attempt to get him to consider rehab, he reportedly went ballistic and abruptly ended the interview. Then, to make matters worse, the report revealed the Nick’s anger escalated into physical retaliation. He reportedly punched to two members of the production staff before exiting.
Although Nick was adamant about not entering rehab, it has been reported that he ultimately checked into a rehabilitation facility. However, the claims have yet to be confirmed. Nick’s attorney has not released a statement in regards to the shocking allegations.
Dr. Phil: The Nick Gordon Intervention is scheduled to air on Wednesday, March 11.
