Bobbi Kristina Brown Was In A Car Crash

Bobbi Kristina Brown remains unconscious at Atlanta Emory University Hospital’s ICU, but a recent police investigation reveals that she was in a car crash just four days prior to being found unresponsive in her bathtub in her Roswell, Georgia, townhouse.

The Roswell Police Department indicate that Brown lost control of a Jeep earlier this year, on January 27. Reportedly, she was driving in Roswell, Georgia, around 4:40 p.m., on Holcomb Bridge Road, when she slid into the opposite lane and crashed into a Ford Taurus with two people inside. The driver of the car Brown hit, Russell Eckerman, 41, of Marietta, was severely injured and has been in the hospital since the accident. He is still unable to speak.

Atlanta Daily World reports that a witness of the crash, Osse Lessage, heard a large bang while outside a nearby strip mall. Lessage immediately ran to the Ford Taurus to assist Eckerman, but he was already unresponsive.

“He was bleeding from his head, and he was bleeding from his mouth, and his ears, as well. Yeah, it was terrible.”

Lessage states the Bobbi Kristina Brown also jumped out of her Jeep and ran to assist Eckerman.

“She was running and screaming, ‘Oh my gosh.’ She was in shock, ‘Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, what just happened, oh my gosh.’ And my brother-in-law was there (saying) ‘calm down, calm down.'”

Bobbi’s friend, Danyela Da Silva Bradley, 18, is the owner of the Jeep and was riding in the passenger seat beside Bobbi Kristina Brown when the car crash occurred. Bradley was also hospitalized, but no information has been released concerning her injuries.

People reports that the car accident is still under investigation. However, the Roswell police charged Bobbi Kristina Brown with failure to stay in her lane. Brown allegedly told the police that her one of her tires blew out while driving, causing her to lose control. The Roswell police report that a nail was found in the blown tire.

Meanwhile, Brown still remains unconscious after being found face down in her bathtub on January 31. Her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, who tried to resuscitate her, became an interest in the police criminal investigation regarding Brown’s condition. Gordon claims he had nothing to do with Brown’s bathtub incident, although injuries were found on her body.

Family and friends are praying daily for Brown to recover. Although the family members have been mostly silent since the accident happened, Brown’s aunt, Pat Houston, recently requested a public prayer for her niece on the late Whitney Houston’s website. The plea for prayers from the worried and distraught aunt came on Bobbi Kristina Brown’s 22nd birthday.
