‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’s’ Chris Pratt Is A Real Life Superhero, Saved Trapped Child

Guardians of the Galaxy’s Chris Pratt proved that he is actually a real-life superhero when he shot to the rescue of a trapped child.

Actor Jeremy Sisto recalled the incident during his appearance on Nick Lachey’s Big Morning Buzz on VH1.

Sisto is a neighbor to both Chris Pratt and his wife, Anna Faris, and he explained to Lachey how Pratt came to the rescue of his infant son after his three-year-old daughter had accidentally locked him in a room.

Sisto was over an hour away so he called up Pratt to ask if he could go over and offer his assistance to Sisto’s wife, something that the actor did with aplomb.

“I call my neighbor, who’s this very nice, chubby little kid who’s married to my friend Anna Faris who lives down the block. I say, ‘Could you head over there to help?’

Well, I didn’t know that this guy had been transforming into Star-Lord. He shows up ripped and handsome and actually kicks the door down in the most heroic moment — my moment — that he stole from me.”

This isn’t the first time that Chris Pratt has proven to the world that he’s a real-life superhero.

The Parks & Recreation actor regularly leaps at the opportunity to dress up as his Guardians of the Galaxy’s Star-Lord, and he has visited numerous children’s hospitals dressed as the comic-book character. You can check out a variety of images from his excursions below.

Chris Pratt, who will next be seen in Jurassic World this summer, was recently rumored to replace Harrison Ford as the lead actor in the Indiana Jones franchise.

Steven Spielberg, who has directed each instalment to the hugely popular action-adventure series, pinpointed Pratt as the ideal new actor to lead Indiana Jones because of his turn in Guardians of the Galaxy last summer.

Pratt will reprise the role of Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy 2, due out on May 5, 2017.
