Britt Nilsson Admits ‘The Bachelor’ Was Tough: ‘I Cried Everyday’ After Coming Home
Bachelor star Britt Nilsson really fell in love with Chris Soules when filming the show, and after getting much attention from him, Nilsson may have thought that she was a front runner. When she was sent home, she was heartbroken. But Britt didn’t really speak out after she was sent home. It wasn’t until the Women Tell All special that fans learned how sad she really was.
Britt Nilsson was actually very heartbroken, as she was starting to picture herself in Arlington with Chris. During the Women Tell All special, she wanted answers, but Nilsson didn’t explain how much she had struggled after coming home. In a new interview, she is getting candid about the emotional experience.
According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report, Bachelor star Britt Nilsson was clearly hung up on Soules, as it has taken her months to get over her feelings for the Iowa farmer.
“I’ve been pretty emotionally raw, because it was pretty hard for me after I left,” Britt Nilsson admitted after leaving The Bachelor, adding, “I went home to Michigan, and I just, like, cried every day. I didn’t know what was going on with myself.”
Of course, many of the women didn’t believe that Britt was being sincere while filming the show. But for Nilsson, the experience was very real. She is having a hard time creating a normal life again, as she had really hoped that Chris would pick her. After the Women Tell All special, Britt Nilsson has returned home and is trying to settle back into a normal life.
While the show was airing, Britt Nilsson was labeled as the villain of the season. Some people felt that she wanted it to be The Bachelorette, where she was the only woman filming. According to the Inquisitr, Nilsson may be considered for the upcoming season for the show. It is questionable whether she will accept the offer, as she is happy filming is done.
“I’m glad it’s over; that’s a major emotion I’m having right now. There are tiny parts of me that wanted more questions answered, but it’s really not in my nature to go hard on people,” Britt Nilsson has revealed, adding that it was nice to bond with Chris again. “It was good to see Chris. It was kind of hard and weird, but I’m glad it happened because the way we ended was not how I wanted to end things, and I don’t think that’s how he wanted to end things. I think he has more clarity too after watching it so that was nice to hear. We hugged it out again — kind of came full circle.”
