Nick Gordon’s Mother Steps Up, Stages Dr. Phil Intervention For Son’s Life
Dr. Phil is planning to stage an intervention to save Nick Gordon’s life. Gordon, as some of you may know, is the boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina Brown. Bobbi Kristina’s life has been in the balance after she was found face down in her bathtub in Atlanta. She has remained in a medically induced coma for weeks.
Around her 22nd birthday, Bobbi Kristina’s partner, Nick Gordon, experienced an intervention on Dr. Phil. Gordon has gone on Twitter to publicly shame Bobbi Kristina’s family for allegedly keeping him away from her while she’s hospitalized. It’s been reported that initial bruises present on Brown led to authorities placing an investigation around Gordon.
In fear of her son’s life, Nick Gordon’s mother sat down with Dr. Phil in order to have her son get some help. According to Us Magazine, a psychiatric expert is going to evaluate Gordon and treat him because “he appears to so desperately need” treatment. In addition to struggling though Bobbi Kristina’s hospital stay, Gordon revealed during the sit down that he’s battling his own issues with drug and alcohol abuse.
His mother told Dr. Phil, “As we sit here right now, my son’s life hangs in the balance. When Whitney was found, he administered CPR to her and called me as he was standing in front of her saying, ‘Mom, why couldn’t I do it? I couldn’t get air into her lungs,’ ” the mother shared. “He won’t let go of the guilt.”
As the Inquisitr reported, the Houston family sent out a statement on Bobbi Kristina’s 22nd birthday. On Whitney Houston’s site, Pat Houston wrote, “Today is Bobbi Kristina’s 22nd birthday, and we ask you to continue to keep her in your prayers as she is still fighting the battle of her life.”
Immediately, fans took to the site to offer the family some support. One fan wrote, “My heart aches for all the suffering your Brave family is having to endure. My thoughts & prayers are with all of y’all. I pray that Bobbi Kristina becomes our next miracle to have a second chance to live a very long healthy life & blossom into a beautiful women that she Icon mom taught her to be. God this beautiful child is here on your time. We ask that it be your well. [sic]”
Doctors attempted to take Bobbi Kristina out of her medically-induced coma, but when they did, she started to have violent seizures. With no other options, the doctors put her back under a medically induced coma. She remains on life support.
