NeNe Leakes Shares Shocker: ‘Phaedra And I Are Not Close! We’re Not BFFs!’
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes wasn’t a big part of Sunday’s episode, but she was there when the ladies got in a fight over Phaedra Parks’ husband. Kenya Moore got very aggressive with Parks because she had been labeled over Apollo Nida’s stories that were proven to be fake.
But while Phaedra was going through this tough time, NeNe Leakes was reaching out to her. On The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Parks revealed that she had been getting support from NeNe on a daily basis while she was dealing with Apollo. Clearly, she was struggling to keep her sons safe while Nida was turning himself in. And Leakes was there for her the entire time.
According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes is now revealing something very shocking. Even though Parks made it seem like they were close, NeNe revealed that this is not the case — at all.
“Let’s be clear about a few things: Phaedra and I are not close! We’re not BFFs! One of the great things about NeNe Leakes is that I have a heart. Phaedra is a woman, and woman to woman I felt her pain! Hell, I had been there before! It doesn’t matter what it looks like on the street, you never know what a woman is going through behind closed doors, and I could clearly see Phaedra was going through something and she was in pain,” NeNe Leakes revealed about Parks.
Of course, NeNe has been super busy working and signing contracts, but she does have time to help out her co-stars when they need help. As Leakes explains, Phaedra is like her in many ways; she is a mother and a career person.
“She’s a mom with two young boys, and all I saw was myself, so I had to reach out. I wanted to give her advice on how to get through during tough times like these. Sometimes you just need somebody to talk to. Somebody to cry to. It’s always during times like these when you get to see the true colors of those that call themselves your friend!” NeNe Leakes concluded.
According to the Inquisitr, Phaedra has been very thankful for NeNe Leakes because she has been behind her throughout this entire ordeal. Apparently, NeNe can be supportive of her co-star, but not be close with her in any way. Parks has been thankful for NeNe because Leakes has backed her up on the cheating stories.
