'Scandal' Season 4 Spoilers: Get Ready For An 'Epic' Olivia Pope Breakdown

Scandal Season 4 will return to ABC on Thursday night with a brand new episode, and fans will get to see the aftermath of Olivia's kidnapping and auction experience. One of her former associates saved her at the last minute on the last episode of the series.

The Scandal ABC Official Facebook shared the first sneak peek for the Scandal Season 4 Episode 14, titled "Lawn Chair," on Wednesday, and Olivia Pope will try to get back to work and handle a new situation that could have a serious impact on the White House.

The Scandal sneak peek shows Olivia on the streets of Washington D.C., and the series is tackling the issue of race relations. With Ferguson back in the news on Wednesday, this episode will take a timely issue in its own way.

A white cop has shot and killed a black 17-year-old. Olivia is speaking to the officer in charge, and she tries to make it clear that the police need to move fast. The location is only four blocks from the White House. However, a man with gun shows up on the scene, and he wants the officer that shot his son brought to him. That is where the clip ends.

Olivia Pope will try to act as if all is well, but this episode will see her have a major breakdown. The Christian Post shared their own teaser for the episode.

"Fans of the show should expect a full run through Olivia's post-traumatic stress disorder, appearing to be a very different person than viewers have seen so far."
In fact, her PTSD might even make it difficult for her to find a way to handle the dangerous situation in the episode. She might not be able to fix something for a change, and that is not something fans have seen on the series so far.

According to a previous Inquisitr report, Bellamy Young called the Scandal episode "epic." It is a must watch episode for fans of the series.

Kerry Washington teased this Thursday's night show with her own tweet. Scandal will joined by a new series on ABC, and she promoted the new series, American Crime, in her tweet as well.

Fans might also see a special appearance on Thursday night's episode. It has been rumored that Lena Dunham from HBO's Girls will make an appearance. She has spoken about the series in the past. The appearance has not been confirmed. Fans will need to tune in to find out if she does show up on the episode.
