Kanye West Rails Against ‘Classism’ And Racism

Kanye West may have upset a lot of people at the Grammys last month, but that hasn’t stopped him from being outspoken. The Huffington Post reported on a speech he made at Oxford University, and some of his statements are thought provoking.

“What good is anything that everyone can’t have?” West questioned during the lecture. “They think we’re done with racism. What about elitism? What about separatism? What about classism?”

The Huffington Post notes that despite West’s sneakers being sold for thousands of dollars on eBay, he believes the price of clothing should never exceed $5,000. Kanye believes that a car should be a lot cheaper.

“You know what should cost $5,000? A car should be $5,000,” he declared. “And you know who should work on the car? The people who work on the $500,000 cars. All the best talent in the world needs to work for the people.”

Kanye West recently broke down in an interview with BBC Radio One. According to Gossip Cop, West was speaking about the late fashion design professor Louise Wilson, who died last year. He said that she was the “baddest professor of all time” at any fashion school ever. He also described how she forced people to be their best. West said the last time they met for dinner, they talked about parenting and life.

Kanye West recently revealed that his next album is titled So Help Me God. According to the Guardian, Kanye’s new album will receive a surprise release similar to Beyoncé’s last effort. West recently released his new single “All Day,” and Rolling Stone gave it a very positive review.

“The proper version of the song shows off its triumphant synth line and bouncy beat, as well as West’s one-liners like, ‘You a fake Denzel like the Allstate n***a/If you run in to me, better have Allstate with you’ and guest Allan Kingdom’s soulful vocals. Since the tune debuted on radio, the song features a few voice-over interruptions and censored N-words.”

Kanye West produces some tracks on Madonna’s new Rebel Heart album. Madonna thinks West is a genius. However, as the Huffington Post reports, Madge also thinks he takes things way too seriously and shouldn’t take too much personal stake in award shows. Madonna reportedly met Kanye West and Kim Kardashian for dinner earlier this week.
