Chris Hemsworth Fail Highlights New ‘Saturday Night Live’ Promos

A huge Chris Hemsworth fail is the highlight of the latest Saturday Night Live promos shared by MTV. Hemsworth will be hosting the show March 7, and the promos have been shown on television this week to promote the appearance. He will be joined by musical guest Zac Brown Band.

There are currently three promos airing on television that feature Chris Hemsworth and Kate McKinnon. In one of the clips, Kate tells Chris that it is her dream to perform the Dirty Dancing lift, and he would be perfect for her attempt because of his size and strength. However, the attempt goes a lot differently than the lift shown in the film with Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey.

Hemsworth puts McKinnon is a quick chokehold, and the SNL cast member then asks him if he ever actually saw the movie. He quickly admits that he never did.

Hemsworth has been busy lately, but it is not work that is keeping him busy. Hello Magazine shared photos of Chris enjoying some time with his daughter. He was in the middle of his beach yoga routine, and his little girl decided to join in. His wife, Elsa Pataky, shared photos of the pair working out on the beach on her Instagram account.

Hemsworth shares three children with Pataky. The couple’s daughter India Rose is their oldest. The couple also has two twin boys that were born in 2014. Another photo shared by Pataky shows her with the three children on the beach with the sun behind them.

What is next for the actor? Hemsworth will bring Thor back in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The actor shared some about his thoughts on the new film in an interview with Moviefone.

“I mean you know, coming off of Thor 2 and Avengers, I couldn’t wait to read this. And I just loved how it upped it in a way that wasn’t just bigger and flashier. I mean everything had been amplified but in an intelligent way. All the stories are relevant to what’s going on in the world as far as the exponential growth of technology and artificial intelligence and then the questions of you know good versus bad in the AI world. He’s managed to bring all of the Avengers back in and give them a relevant reason to be there and justified sort of conflict. I mean it’s a tricky balance. I’m glad I’m not the one writing the thing and having to pull that off.”

Hemsworth also revealed that the battle in this film is “personal.” It effects all of the Avengers, and it could have an impact on Asgard.

Thor will have some new battles and challenges to face during this film, but Thor will have grown up and changed a bit since the last two films. Hemsworth admits that Thor has “loosened up a bit” in the new film.

“There’s more humor in Thor or he at least because he’s been on earth, he’s a little more humor, a little more accessible now. He’s off Asgard now so he doesn’t have to be as regal and kingly as he is in that world, which is nice.”

Fans will be able to watch Chris Hemsworth on Saturday Night Live on March 7. Will you be tuning in? Are you excited to see Hemsworth back as Thor in the next Avengers movie?
