Jonah Hill’s Key to Transformation

It’s been no secret that over the last year Jonah Hill has gone through a significant weight loss transformation.

Back in September the star explained to KiddNation TV what jump started his plans to diet and change his physic. “I started physically running instead of emotionally running. I started doing ten push ups and now I do a hundred every day. I was living like a frat guy during my Superbad days. It was just a matter of growing up and maturing as a man.”

Recently Jonah spoke with ABC News about his continued transformation.

‘It was just mostly diet. I wish there was some crazy thing that I did, like a pill or a genie or something. But it was, unfortunately, I went to see a nutritionist, and he told me what to eat to change my habits and stuff,” Said Hill.

On the heels of his Oscar nomination, the actor confessed he’s looking for more mature roles and is more so focusing on dramatic scripts as well, “I’m almost 30 years old — I’m not a foul-mouthed seventeen-year-old kid who’s trying to get laid or whatever. I’m an adult man who takes his work really seriously. As I mature, my sensibilities have changed. I think once you get to a certain place, your career is all about delegating time and what you want to spend your time doing. I’ve made a lot of comedies in a really short amount of time, and they’ve been ripped off every which way to Sunday. So it’s not as exciting to do those anymore.”

Most recently the actor had to turn down a role in a Quentin Tarantino film Django Unchained, but promises he has more dramas coming up soon.
