A moment of instant karma is captured by a CCTV camera in Malaysia when a woman had her purse snatched by a thief and seized the opportunity to provide retribution by riding off on his scooter.
The footage shows the woman, who was wearing a hijab, walking down an alleyway when a man riding a scooter from the opposite direction sees her, parks his scooter, snatches her handbag and ran off.
Possibly expecting a futile chase from the female victim, he definitely did not anticipate her quick wits. And as he ran away and disappeared off camera, the woman, upon noticing his scooter, jumped on and rode off.
The mugger is then seen trying to catch up with the woman who now has a spanking new scooter.
The video was uploaded to Facebook this week, and has since received over 40,000 views with some persons voicing their support for the act of reprisal.
Web user, Azlin Azhar commented, “Knowing that Malaysians don’t usually carry a lot of cash, she wins!”
“It motivates me to learn how to ride a motorcycle,” Sylvia Sew posted
And Adi Khan wrote, “Justice on the spot.”
