Cynthia Bailey’s Peter Thomas Hits Back At NeNe Leakes For Walmart Pageants Comment And Defends Apollo Nida
Peter Thomas is speaking up in defense of his wife. As the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired on Sunday night, Peter made sure to let everyone know what he thinks of NeNe Leakes bashing Cynthia Bailey.
Sunday night’s episode was quite the dramatic one, thanks to Cynthia telling all of the women that Apollo Nida told Peter that Phaedra was cheating on him with an African man nicknamed “Mr. Chocolate.” The information, revealed during a group dinner at a restaurant, led to Phaedra criticizing Cynthia and acting as if she was about to physically attack Kenya Moore.
NeNe bashed Cynthia for bringing up Apollo’s accusation. During her talking head interview, NeNe said that Cynthia, with her hemming and hawing, didn’t even have the guts to outright say what she wanted to say. NeNe also made fun of Cynthia’s career.
While Cynthia Bailey has so far stayed silent over what NeNe Leakes said about her in the latest episode, her husband, Peter Thomas, has not. On Instagram, Peter posted a photo of himself with Cynthia at their sports bar in Charlotte. Peter directly addressed NeNe’s comment that Cynthia should stay out of the drama and just continue doing her pageants at Walmart.
“Cynthia Bailey didn’t chose bravo TV network, it chose her, before that, she was one of the top African-American model in the United States for 25 years, and still going strong, now given opportunities to young girls across the country, yes also at Walmart, The country top retail store. By the way this is us having fun at my new sports bar in Charlotte Celebratoon the CI AA weekend.”
Peter also seemed to make fun of NeNe’s appearance. During her talking head interview, NeNe made some funny faces when impersonating Cynthia.

Peter even called out Phaedra herself for calling in security over concerns for her safety after Apollo reported to prison.

Surprisingly, it may be Kandi Burruss who may be in the most trouble now. Compared to NeNe Leakes’ very vocal defense of Phaedra Parks and criticism of Kenya Moore and Cynthia Bailey for bringing up “Mr. Chocolate,” Phaedra’s supposed BFF stayed silent. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kandi’s silence prompted many viewers of The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s viewers to criticize her for not being a true friend to Phaedra, which in turn prompted Kandi to defend her inaction. A preview for the next episode shows Kandi friendship with Phaedra being called into question.
