Justin Bieber Hilariously Taunts Seth Rogen: ‘Come On Man, Roast Me’

Justin Bieber isn’t kidding about wanting Seth Rogen at his Comedy Central Roast.

On Monday, the just-turned 21-year-old took to Twitter to again ask his fellow countryman to participate in the looming takedown. The singer previously tweeted the comic, director, writer, producer, and actor last week.

Bieber will face a gauntlet of comics including Roast Master Kevin Hart, Hannibal Buress, and Ross. Other names are yet to be revealed. The roast will be taped in Los Angeles on March 14 and airs on the Comedy Central network on March 30 at 10 p.m. ET.

After tweeting about his second 21st birthday party — which will take place after the taping at the Omnia Nightclub at Las Vegas’ Caesar’s Palace — the heartthrob got stuck into part pleading/goading/trolling Rogen.

The Biebs began, “@Sethrogen come on man. Check your voicemail. I took it like a man as u blasted a nervous kid fan of yours (me). Now I’m a man. Roast me!”

A very funny joke at the expense of the older star’s controversial but underwhelming film followed.

“@Sethrogen I’m still your biggest fan. Even after ‘the interview.’ That’s dedication. Roast me! Sincerely yours..the piece of s***..justin;),” the singer added.

Bieber (or whoever was tweeting from his account), then stepped up his “harassment” by getting a Twitter trending topic going. The hitmaker wrote, “#WeWantSeth #BieberRoast.”

The singer then cross-promoted his Rogen tease by publicizing his current white-hot hit “Where Are Ü Now” with producer-DJ’s Skrillex and Diplo from their just-dropped Jack Ü album.

“Where are you now when I need you @Sethrogen. #WhereAreÜNow,” Bieber tweeted, cheekily including the iTunes purchase link for the song in his last tweet to Rogen.

Last Thursday, Bieber tweeted, “@Sethrogen all I want for my birthday is for you to roast me. I took the twitter bashing please make my bday and do it in person. Thanks.”

In his follow-up post he explained, “@Sethrogen I would have emailed u but this is the only electronic communication with u that doesn’t scare me. Hope to see u at the roast.)”

As most know, Rogen famously posted an offensive tweet about Bieber the day the singer was arrested in Miami Beach on suspicion of DUI, on January 23, 2013.

Rogen wrote, “All jokes aside, Justin Bieber is a piece of s***.”

From that point, the 32-year-old went on almost make a sideline career out of shaming the singer, for reasons which appeared to make sense to Seth. Hostilities came to a head last May when Rogen did multiple interviews during press for his Neighbors movie, and slated the Biebs in each.

When Rogen’s press chores for the film ended, he abruptly stopped bashing the crooner.

Until now, silence reigned between the two after the singer responded to the then constant hate by implying Rogen had an ego problem.

So, will Rogen step up and do the Bieber roast? Is today’s Twitter spree all just pantomine, and has Rogen already secretly signed on? Tonally, Bieber’s Twitter goading fits the mood of the two promos Comedy Central has rolled out.

Either way, it’s all good fun and adds to the hype-up of what may turn out to be one of the highest viewed roasts in recent times. Bieber is clearly ready to take it like a man, or at the very least he thinks he is.

Over to you Rogen, if you dare.
