Miranda Simms Shares Inspiring Message Amid Filming On ‘Teen Mom 2’ Season 6

Miranda Simms appears to be holding her head high as Teen Mom 2 continues to film its sixth season.

On March 1, Miranda Simms re-tweeted an inspiring message from the Women Of Christ Twitter account.

“I’m strong because I know my weaknesses. I’m wise because I’ve been foolish. I laugh because I’ve known sadness.”

Miranda Simms and her husband Corey began dating in 2012, shortly after Corey’s divorce. However, Miranda Simms stayed away from the MTV cameras until the following year, when she and Corey tied the knot. Since then, the pair have been living in wedded bliss, and sharing parenting rights to Ali and Aleeah, both 5.

While they have yet to have their own children, Corey and Miranda Simms do want to start a family one day, and, as Miranda Simms said on Twitter last year, she’d love to have a son.

As the Inquisitr reported in December, things between Corey and Miranda Simms, and Corey’s ex-wife Leah Messer, were strained as filming on Season 6 began. Weeks before Miranda Simms’ husband’s dad shared a photo of him filming, Messer posted a message about the Simms’ marriage on Facebook.

“Things you see on Corey and Mirandas ‘official and APPROVED page’ is far from being true, and all I have to say about it is that they may want to be very WISE about what the post because a marriage that PRETENDS to be PERFECT is NEVER perfect, especially when there is way more not told to a specific spouse, and that’s all I’m going to say.”

Also in Messer’s Facebook post, she discussed the outcome of her and Corey’s custody hearing, which took place in early December. As fans of Teen Mom 2 will recall, Corey, along with Miranda Simms, filed for full custody of twins Ali and Aleeah last year.

“As far as the status on our court hearing… I am very happy with the results and will talk about it very soon. I think the results were in m daughters BEST interest.”

Messer’s message was pretty ironic, considering her own husband, Jeremy Calvert, had accused her of cheating on him just two months prior. Although Calvert eventually deleted his posts, and he and Messer are still together, he told fans on Twitter that she had cheated with Robbie Kidd, the same man she slept with just hours before marrying her first husband, Corey.

Miranda Simms will return to MTV later this year for Teen Mom 2 Season 6. Leah Messer and her husband, Calvert, will also be seen.
