Andy Cohen Says It’s Christmas With ‘Real Housewives Of New York’ Trailer
Andy Cohen is good at keeping secrets. Cohen tends to know what is going on behind the scenes, and this year Bravo announced that The Real Housewives of Orange County would be returning in April. They also revealed that they were looking at alternatives and options for The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but never gave any real answers or options of their own.
But it sounds like Andy Cohen has been keeping an even bigger secret from fans. A few weeks ago, Heather Thomson and Carole Radziwill announced that they had just stopped filming and were ready to watch the new season. It is very possible that Andy didn’t announce anything as trouble over payments delayed the previous season. But it sounds like Cohen is ready now.
According to a new tweet, Andy Cohen is now hinting that The Real Housewives of New York will actually air much sooner than expected. Over the weekend, Cohen revealed that it was like Christmas, heavily hinting that a trailer for this new season would be released today. Of course, not much is known about this upcoming season. Back in 2014, Andy Cohen and Bethenny Frankel announced that she would be returning to the show. In addition, fans know that Aviva Drescher has not been filming this season. But that’s about all that is known. One can imagine that Andy wants Ramona Singer to discuss her marriage, and that Bethenny should share some things about her business and current marital situation.
According to the Inquisitr, Sonja Morgan is thrilled with Frankel’s return to the show. Of course, Andy Cohen is often bonding with Sonja and Bethenny, so it isn’t surprising that Sonja is excited about Frankel’s return. In addition, Andy wanted to boost the ratings for the show as they took a hit after the show’s fourth season when Bravo decided to fire Alex McCord, Kelly Bensimon, Jill Zarin and Cindy Barshop.
But there will be a fresh face. Apparently, Dorinda Medley will be joining the cast. Andy Cohen hasn’t mentioned her at all, but it is very possible that she will bring a new dynamic to the show. Many fans are excited about this upcoming season, which is scheduled to return April 7th at 9pm EST.
