Taco Bell Takes Dessert To The Extreme: Cap’n Crunch Donuts, Deep-Fried And Stuffed With Milk Frosting
Taco Bell has announced that it is taking desserts to a whole new level with the introduction of deep-fried donut holes that have been rolled in Cap’n Crunch Berries cereal and stuffed with a decadent milk frosting. The internet is basically freaking out over the Cap’n Crunch donuts. People are hopping on social media to demand that Taco Bell bring the tasty treats to all franchises before they have a meltdown.
Food Beast reports that they were invited to the Taco Bell test kitchen to try out a new product called Cap’n Crunch Delights. The product is what Food Beast rightfully dubs “fast food cereal.” The tiny cereal bites were described as being “made with Cap’n Crunch Berries cereal and a warm, gooey milk icing.” The Cap’n Crunch Delights are the newest addition to Taco Bell’s already strong dessert menu. It seems that people in the U.S. are welcoming the bites with open arms and can’t wait to get their hands on some of these treats. In fact, #CapnCrunchDelights has been trending on Twitter since Taco Bell made the big announcement on their official Twitter account yesterday.
Unfortunately for those hoping to rush to their vehicle and drive to their local Taco Bell to pick up some Cap’n Crunch Delights, the item is currently only being offered at select locations in Bakersville, California. However, judging by the social media response to the product, it is only a matter of time before the deep-fried donut delights make it to Taco Bell franchises throughout the U.S.
