Jeremy Calvert Confirms Marriage: Not Divorcing Leah Messer
The drama between Jeremy Calvert and Leah Messer has been playing out in the media since last year. While the question on everyone’s mind has been when, not if, they are getting divorced, it seems things have worked themselves out for the couple.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jeremy took to Twitter to share some photos. This is out of character for the Teen Mom 2 dad who has not been sharing anything on social networking since leaked Twitter messages between him and a single mom living in West Virginia were published online. However, Jeremy shared recent photos of himself with stepdaughter Aleeah, as well as a flashback photo of himself with his wife, Leah Messer.
The Ashley’s Reality Roundup confirmed that Jeremy Calvert took to Facebook to change his relationship status from “It’s Complicated” to “Married.” This is a huge change, especially considering Jeremy seemed to hold out on changing this. Leah Messer, on the other hand, had changed her status a while ago, and assured fans that her marriage was fine, but few believed her. In fact, Jeremy’s lack of social network interaction seemed to cement to some people that things between the couple were doomed and that they were heading for divorce.
Back in February, Leah and Jeremy celebrated their daughter’s birthday. It was on that day that he sent a very loving text to Leah which she shared on Facebook, according to the Inquisitr. It was with that message that fans seemed to believe their marriage was fine.
“In 24 hours 2 years ago around this time, you were waking me up yelling at me and shortly after I carried you down the hill on a snowy morning and at 9:45 am are [sic] baby girl was born. God I love you Leah Dawn. IDK honestly what it is 1000% bout you but you have my heart more than anyone ever has in my life and sometimes it drives me crazy just trying to figure just what it is about you and I think it’s not just one thing its everything about you if that makes sense.”
For the past few weeks, both Jeremy Calvert and Leah Messer have remained quiet on social networks. In fact, staying off of social media may have been for the best. While it is great that the Teen Mom 2 stars interact with their fans and share updates about their lives, sometimes stepping back from virtual reality and into the real world is needed.
Both Jeremy Calvert and Leah Messer are currently filming for the sixth season of Teen Mom 2, which is set to come back to television later this year.
