Blood Found In Toddler Ayla Reynolds Home Confirmed To Be Hers

Police testing has determined that the blood sample taken from toddler Ayla Reynolds home after her alleged December 17 kidnapping belongs to the little gir.

Main Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland said on Sunday:

“The state crime lab confirms some of the blood samples are Ayla’s.”

Shortly after that announcement Ayla’s family disclosed police findings on a website setup to help find the missing girl. According to the website police found blood and it was “more … than a small cut would produce.”

McCausland also said that while some of the blood found in the family’s basement was not “visible to the naked eye, some wasn’t.”

To detect much of the blood a CSI team used the chemical Luminol to determine where blood couldn’t be seen by a human eye.

At this time police have publicly cast doubt on the three adults involved in the case, specifically the toddler’s father, his girlfriend and the Ayla’s aunt, all of whom were in the home the last time the little girl was seen.

According to police the three adults involved in the missing child’s case didn’t “pass the ‘straight-face’ test in Maine.”

On Saturday McCausland revealed:

“We feel they know more than they’re telling us,” and “We don’t think we got the full story.”

He goes on to add that Ayla’s father “is still talking to us when we ask him to.” and “We’ve been trying to be diplomatic about his participation, and he talks with us when we ask him questions.”

The search for the little girl continues.

Do you think Ayla Reynold’s own family has something to do with the little girls disappearance.
