Bravo Is ‘Worried’ About The Seventh Season Of ‘The Real Housewives Of New York City’ [Report]

Bravo is reportedly unhappy with the footage captured for the upcoming seventh season of The Real Housewives of New York City. Upon wrapping filming on the next installment, a source spoke out, claiming Bravo is concerned about an alleged lack of drama.

On February 27, the source revealed the following Bravo news to NY Daily News:

“Thursday, Feb. 12, was our last scheduled day of taping, but production is worried, because the season isn’t what they thought it would be. With the exception of Bethenny, the season is not high drama.”

During the final scene of the Bravo series, cast member LuAnn de Lesseps attended Sherri Hill’s fashion show and met MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts at a nearby bar. Later, the Bravo cast met at the Strand Hotel for a rebirth party for Ramona Singer.

Last year, after months of rumors regarding her husband’s alleged relationship with Kasey Dexter, Bravo’s Singer announced she was ready to move on from her marriage. Although Mario never confirmed reports of an affair, he and Dexter had been linked since 2013 and went public with their relationship just days after he and Singer officially called it quits.

Bravos’s de Lesseps and attended Singer’s party with Roberts, as well.

“When they got to the party, everyone went nuts over how hot he is. Carole (Radziwill) bonded with him talking about news — she was a journalist at ABC and sick of the ‘shallow’ Housewives.”

In other Bravo news, Bethenny Frankel is reportedly on the outs with her co-stars. According to a February 20 report by Radar Online, Bravo’s Kristen Taekman, Heather Thomson, Carole Radziwill, LuAnn de Lesseps and rumored new housewife Dorinda Medley completely ignored her at a party earlier this month — the same party where Frankel and Singer engaged in a heated debate.

“Only a few times did they look at the two women fighting before burying their attention somewhere else. Bethenny was doing her best to avoid them too. She didn’t seem to want to be near them at all and was doing everything in her power to stay away and distract herself.”

Frankel and Singer were two of the original housewives on The Real Housewives of New York City when the series premiered on Bravo in 2008. Also included in the original Bravo cast were Jill Zarin, Alex McCord and de Lesseps.

As the Inquisitr reported, The Real Housewives of New York City is expected to return to Bravo on April 7. Reality Tea was first to report the Bravo news.
