Jimmy Fallon Reveals Secret Conversations In ‘Celebrity Whispers’ [VIDEO]

Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon recently channeled his British alter ego, Peggy Hess, to figure out what Hollywood’s elite and Washington’s political powers that be whisper to one another during red carpet events and speeches.

Fallon’s two-minute sketch included an Academy Award conversation between Jared Leto and brand new Oscar recipient Eddie Redmayne regarding the microwaveable snack Hot Pockets, Chris Pratt and wife Anna Faris pretending to be raccoons, and Benedict Cumberbatch slowly whispering the lyrics to “Uptown Funk,” among others.

Though the sketch itself isn’t all that original, considering that it replicates the viral videos of Bad Lip Reading, Fallon’s sense of humor is what will get you giggling.

After all, what could be funnier (or creepier) than Jimmy Fallon’s whispered voice-over account of what was on Vice-President Joe Biden’s mind (“Is that Garnier Fructis?”) during his awkward touchy feely moment with the defense secretary’s wife last week?

Jimmy Fallon is well known for his humorous takes on current events, having been one of the elite members of SNL‘s coveted Weekend Update. During his term on SNL, Jimmy created many memorable characters such as Boston teen Pat “Sully” Sullivan and Barry Gibb.

On the Tonight Show, Fallon not only interviews guests but includes them in his entertaining segment of extras, both live and taped. His lip sync battles have been a YouTube favorite and his “Ew!” sketch character Sara has enjoyed the company of Zac Efron, Seth Rogen, Taylor Swift, and more.

Earlier in the week, Jimmy Fallon faced off against Christina Aguilera in the game “Wheel of Musical Impressions.” Fallon, though talented at impersonating others, was seemingly surprised at Aguilera’s ability to channel Cher and Britney Spears for the win.

Jimmy Fallon took over the Tonight Show from previous host Jay Leno in February of 2014. The change in hosts gave the show the much needed ratings boost it was looking for, and Fallon’s star has continued to be on the rise.

Whether Fallon is pulling pranks on his fans with photobombs, hiding behind a robot at Ben and Jerry’s, or competing against his cohorts in ridiculous games like “Box of Lies” or “Slapjack,” its nice to know he is a reliable source of laughter and amusement.

And perhaps one of the most lovable things about Fallon, who barely has a year of hosting the Tonight Show under his belt, is that he is as easily amused as his audience.
