Bobbi Kristina Brown Back In Coma, Family Continues To Feud With Her Lover Nick Gordon As She Clings To Life
Updates regarding Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition have been scarce, with most of the media attention focusing on her family’s feud with her lover, Nick Gordon. However, it’s been revealed that doctors have tried taking her out of the medically-induced coma. The doctors are weaning her off the medicine in order to get a grasp of her brain activity. They were forced to put her back on the drugs after she suffered from seizures, a source told CNN.
Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in the bathtub at her home in Georgia. The circumstances behind how she was found are eerily similar to how her mother, Whitney Houston, passed away in 2012. Police have said that they’re treating Brown’s case as a criminal investigation.
Recently, Bobbi Kristina underwent a tracheostomy. The doctors removed her breathing tube, allowing her to breathe through a hole in her throat. Dr. Sanjay Gupta, CNN‘s medical correspondent, said she would need to be in such support for “weeks and months to come, as opposed to hours and days”.
A family member told reporters, “We’re hoping for a significant change soon, but we know that it may not change anything. There will be a sign of hope, and then nothing. Every day, we wonder if this will be the day that we get good news. We’re all hoping and praying that this will give us some answers.”
Bobbi Brown was at the center of a family feud between her dad, Bobby, and Nick Gordon. According to Nick Gordon, Bobby banned him from seeing Bobbi Kristina. Gordon took to Twitter to accuse Bobby Brown of using his daughter’s condition for publicity.

A lawyer for Bobby wrote, “Let me be very clear, Mr. Gordon was offered an opportunity to potentially visit Bobbi Kristina and he declined to meet the terms of any possible visit. We are only concerned with individuals that can help Bobbi Kristina and bring resolution to this investigation. Obviously Mr. Gordon is not as desperate to visit Bobbi Kristina as he wants the world to believe.”
Gordon’s camp issued a response saying that they advised him against meeting Brown’s terms because they couldn’t guarantee access to Bobbi Kristina.
“Bobby Brown has consistently prohibited Nick, who Bobbi Kristina would want by her side, from being there,” Gordon’s Lawyers, Randall Kessler and Joe Habachy said in a statement. According to them, Gordon wanted to settle the matter privately. “Those offers have also been rejected. We hope Mr. Brown has a change of heart,” they added.
