Cop Slaps Homeless Man After Pushing Him, Footage Goes Viral
In this video, a cop slaps an elderly homeless man only moments after he aggressively pushes his head, causing him to fall to the ground.
Towards the beginning of the video, the cop is seen escorting the elderly man off to the side apparently away from the terminal while he puts on gloves. Shortly after doing that, the cop pushes the man directly in his face — causing him to stumble and fall on the ground.
All of this apparently takes place while a man on a nearby bench is recording the entire encounter with a mobile device.
Seconds after the elderly man hits the ground, he yells “f**k you” to the cop, which causes the cop to respond by explaining what would happen next.
“Relax. I’ll tell you right now what’s going to happen. I’ll tell you right now what’s going to happen. I’m escorting you out right now.”
While still on the ground, the man mentions to the cop that he needed to use the bathroom. The cop did not take very long to address that request.
“You are not going to go pee. You’re not supposed to be here, okay? So get up.”
The cop and the old man converse back and forth as the cop continues to tell the man to get up, which the old man apparently refuses to do.
As seen in the video, it appears that the cop even stretches out his hand to touch the man’s arm as if he was going to help him up. The old man says “No” and toss his hands up in the air. It also seems as if the old man may have touched the cop’s hand.
That is the moment when the cop slaps the old man very hard and raises his voice, using the F-word several times to tell the man not to touch him.
“I’m not f**king around with you. Don’t f**cking touch me. Don’t f**cking touch me. Put your hands behind your back.”
Another nearby witness yells out “Y’all record that s**t!” as the cop forcefully turns the old man around in order to place handcuffs on him.
The man keeps recording discreetly for several minutes after the cop slaps the old man. Moments after the old man finally stands up with his arms cuffed behind him, the cop seems to explain his actions by reminding the old man about his own.
“You’re not understanding me… I’m not arguing with you. We’re not going to argue back and forth. I tell you what to do, you’re going to do it. It’s just that simple. When you’re telling me to go ‘f**k you’, what do you think is going to happen? What do you think is going to happen?”
The video was posted on YouTube Sunday. According to the title of the video, the cop was a Broward terminal police officer.
Bobby Brooks with NBC 6 provided an update on his official Twitter page Tuesday, confirming that the cop has been suspended without pay for his actions.

Since being uploaded on World Star Hip-Hop Tuesday, the same video of a cop that brutally slaps a homeless man has already been viewed over 450,000 times.
