Emma Stone Wardrobe Malfunction: ‘Birdman’ Actress Accidentally Flashes Crotch At Oscars
Emma Stone suffered a wardrobe malfunction during Sunday night’s Oscars. According to Hollywood Life, the Birdman actress accidentally flashed her crotch while walking on the red carpet. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, some people thought that the 26-year-old actress decided to go commando, but the “zoom” button showed that she was wearing underwear, which totally saved her from an even-more embarrassing moment.
No one got a glimpse of anything more than her nude-colored panties. Perhaps hiking one’s Elie Saab dress up from the leg slit isn’t the best idea. As you can see in the photo below, Emma lifted her dress to avoid tripping as she walked the carpet, and posed for photos. Evidently she didn’t think her slit was that high.

Emma Stone’s wardrobe malfunction made headlines on the internet after viewers saw more than they bargained for. Whether or not Emma knew what had happened is unknown. She didn’t seem to realize that she lifted her dress too high, and she had a smile on her face for the majority of the evening.
According to The SpreadIt, Stone didn’t let her loss in the Best Supporting Actress category ruin her night either. She seemed really happy just to be nominated, and she had a great time with some fabulous people like Jennifer Aniston.
“Despite the wardrobe malfunction and the Oscar loss, Stone kept smiling through the evening and it seems that she had a great time. She was seen talking to people like Julianne Moore at the various after-parties.”
As for Stone’s boyfriend’s whereabouts, sources say that Andrew Garfield decided to “do his own thing” on Oscar night — and that was fine with Stone, who apparently didn’t think she had a shot at winning an award anyway (Patricia Arquette won in the category).
“They want to protect their relationship and not be a couple in public so they both decided that it was better off this way during Oscar night. If Emma thought she had a chance to win, then things would be a completely different story, but she let Andrew do his own thing during the Oscars. They have no drama with each other so people shouldn’t think of this as a snub,” a source told Hollywood Life.
