Could Stassi Schroeder and Patrick Meagher be replacing Kristen Doute and her boyfriend, James Kennedy, ahead of the upcoming fourth season of Vanderpump Rules?
During the Bravo reality show's third season, Doute was fired from SUR Lounge, where the series is shot, so will she be banned from appearing on the upcoming season? According to a LALATE report on February 23, that is a possibility, especially after her boss, Lisa Vanderpump, informed her she was no longer allowed to be at the restaurant.
On Monday, ahead of the night's new episode of Vanderpump Rules, the site reported that Schroeder, despite her many comments, which appear to hint she's ready to leave the series, could return, after all. The site also claimed Doute would likely return, but only in a limited role.
The site reported the following.
"[Doute] remains dedicated to the show and would return if invited back. So who is in, and who is out, and are Kristen and Stassi both leaving the show? LALATE does not believe that Stassi will return as a main character for season four, and might gone for good. Kristen is likely to return in some capacity, to be determined."
Since Schroeder will likely only be seen in a limited role, her boyfriend, Meagher, won't be seen much either -- if at all. Throughout Season 3, Schroeder kept her relationship off camera and told the press she didn't plan to share him with fans anytime soon. So, fans shouldn't be surprised if she returns without Meagher for Season 4.
In addition to the news regarding Stassi Schroeder and Patrick Meagher, LALATE claimed cuts within the cast could be in the future.
"Production is likely to cut more main characters. Production salaries are surging, making profit levels tighter. As result, to pick up the tensions, fans should expect to see new Sur-vers joining the cast to ignite tensions, keep storylines fresh, and keep production budgets lower with their entry level salaries."
As the Inquisitr reported, Stassi Schroeder and Patrick Meagher moved to Los Angeles from New York City just as filming on Season 3 of Vanderpump Rules began. However, Meagher kept his life away from the cameras.
In an interview with Wetpaint Entertainment in January, Schroeder explained their decision.
"It's really important to have things be very separate. Why would he have anything to do with this show? He's a wonderfully kind 36-year-old professional with a great job and great head on his shoulders. He's not SUR material. It wouldn't make sense."
Stassi Schroeder and Patrick Meagher began dating in late 2013.
