Dark Chocolate Helps People Look Decades Younger

Dark chocolate is packed with a variety of powerful health benefits. Quality dark chocolate with a high cocoa content is not only nutritious, this sweet treat is loaded with soluble fiber and minerals, like magnesium, copper, and iron.

In addition, various compounds found in dark chocolate have cancer-fighting properties. The ingredients found in dark chocolate may also help fight symptoms of chronic fatigue and improve mood. A recent discovery cites dark chocolate also has anti-aging properties to help people look decades younger.

For thousands of years, people have been trying to find ways to slow down, hide, or suppress their wrinkles, a natural aging process for humans. An anti-aging, dark chocolate is coming to the rescue of many who want to look 30 years younger.

Lycotec, a chocolate maker in the United Kingdom claims to have developed an anti-aging chocolate that can make people look younger. The company performed clinical trials on more than 3,000 participants between the ages of 50 and 60, giving volunteers small portions of the world’s first Beauty Chocolate, Esthechoc. The findings of the clinical trials showed that the biomarkers of the participant’s skin were brought back to those of a 20 or 30-year-old person.

Lycotec offered the following comment about their product to Tech Times.

“After three to four weeks of daily intake by 50 to 60-year-old volunteers, the Beauty Chocolate was able to not only suppress markers of subclinical inflammatory damage in their blood, but also reverse their age-related depression of microcirculation and blood supply to such peripheral tissues as subcutaneous fat and skin.”

Dr. Ivan Petyaev, director of Lycotec and the inventor of the Esthechoc formula and technology said that it took several years to research this innovative anti-aging product. According to Lycotec, consuming one bar of Esthechoc each day is safe for calorie-conscious people and diabetics. However, some believe the company should conduct further studies before making strong claims about Esthechoc.

The creators of the chocolate reveal that Esthechoc contains about 70 percent cocoa dark chocolate and is rich in cocoa flavonoids and antioxidants. The anti-aging, chocolate maker claims a small portion of the chocolate weighs 7.5 grams and can deliver an equal amount of flavonols to 100 grams of dark chocolate and of astaxanthin to 300 grams of wild Alaskan salmon.
