Katie Maloney Gushes Over Her Friendship With Her ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Co-Stars Scheana Marie And Ariana Madix
Katie Maloney was best friends with Stassi Schroeder at the beginning of Vanderpump Rules Season 3. Since then, their relationship has drastically changed, and now, Maloney has gotten close to Scheana Marie and Ariana Madix.
On Thursday night, Maloney attended OK! Magazine’s pre-Oscar party in Hollywood, California, with her co-stars. Days later, she shared a photo of herself, Marie, and Madix on Instagram.
On February 21, Katie Maloney posted the photo with the following caption:
“Regramiming this from @ariana252525 of me and our gorgeous babe @scheanamarie I love you girls!”
Following Maloney’s Instagram post, Marie responded to her, saying, “love you more,” and Madix added, “Love you most!”
Although Katie Maloney hadn’t been friends with Marie and Madix during seasons prior, they ended their differences early on in Season 3 after Marie suggested Maloney join her in Miami to celebrate her and Mike Shay’s bachelor/bachelorette weekend. After agreeing to put their past behind them, Maloney, along with boyfriend Tom Schwartz, flew to Miami, where they had a ball with Marie, Shay, and their friends, including Madix.
Around the same time, Maloney’s friendship with Shroeder became strained. Since Schroeder was ignoring Maloney’s calls and texts before she decided to go to Miami, she wasn’t able to inform her of her decision before Marie did it for her. Hearing of her friend’s alleged betrayal, Schroeder ended her friendship with Maloney. According to Schroeder, she didn’t see how Maloney could be friends with Marie.
After the former friends’ falling out aired on Vanderpump Rules, Maloney took to her Bravo blog, where she explained her thoughts.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Maloney said she felt “insulted” by Schroeder’s reaction to her putting her drama with Marie to the side.
“Imagine how insulting and frustrating it was for me to have my best friend be so unreasonably unsupportive and selfish about MY decision. Especially when I have been so supportive of her.”
According to Maloney, her decision to end her drama with Marie was out of respect for her boyfriend, Tom Schwartz, who is close with Marie and Shay, and out of her own desire to let go of the tension.
“Frankly I’m an adult, and I realize there are bigger things in life, and if I let myself get caught up in the petty details, I’m not focusing on more important things.”
