AC/DC Tickets Listed For $41K On eBay, Selling For Nearly $700 Each

There’s a reason that AC/DC tickets are a hot trending search item, according to Yahoo. The AC/DC tickets are selling on average for $250 for the Rock or Bust World Tour, reports Forbes about the upcoming and highly anticipated 40th anniversary tour for AC/DC. The 2015 Rock or Bust tour for the Australian hard rock band will prove to be a reunion of the 200 million-plus album-selling group that has been through plenty of changes since first forming in the early 1970s. The AC/DC tickets for the Rock or Bust World Tour — a 13-date journey across North America in August and September — are proving their popularity by the sale prices the tickets are commanding.

It will be five years since AC/DC performed in the U.S., and although AC/DC tickets on TiqIQ are averaging around $250, the prices being asked for AC/DC tickets on eBay are much higher. For example, a search for “AC/DC tickets” on eBay sorted by the highest prices first reveals four tickets to see the band at AT&T Park on September 25 listed for $41,600 as of this writing.

As reported by the Inquisitr, the 2015 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has sold out, and the event contains headliners like AC/DC, Jack White of the White Stripes and the Raconteurs, and Drake. Therefore, eBay listings for four Coachella tickets are going for $17,237 right now. The tickets also contain backstage privileges to the Empire Polo Field event in California on April 17. A long list of other AC/DC tickets being sold on eBay prove that the secondary market for the concert tickets are strong, as witnessed by the number of people watching the eBay listings. Although the Coachella three-day pass tickets are averaging $1,100 on some resell marketplaces for the initial weekend — and even higher for the second weekend averages about $700 — it’ll be interesting to see where the final “sold” prices for the AC/DC tickets land.

Searching for the AC/DC tickets that have already sold on eBay prove that four tickets in the pit for AC/DC at Wrigley Field in Chicago on their Tuesday, September 15, date have gone for $2,750 for folks to be in the front row. That means those AC/DC tickets sold for nearly $700 each. Likewise, two tickets to the AC/DC Commonwealth Stadium — Edmonton September 20 appearance sold for $2,035 on the floor. These listings are proof positive that AC/DC tickets are selling well, and are commanding high prices.
