Bruce Jenner’s Sister, Pam Mettler, Says She Supports Her Brother

Bruce Jenner has received words of support from a close family member: his sister Pam Mettler. Mettler gave an interview Friday to The Daily Mail about her younger sibling and his well-publicized life events. When asked about his reported transition from male to female, Mettler said Bruce will discuss his life when he is ready to do so. In the meantime, she called Bruce her “best friend” and said the two speak frequently.

“This is Bruce’s story he will talk about it when he is ready.

“Oh my god yes, Bruce and I talk all the time. We are all very close. Bruce often comes to visit me here [in Florida], we are best friends. We fully support him.”

Mettler’s comments come after Jenner’s mother, Esther, also expressed pride in Bruce.

“I have never been more proud of Bruce for who he is, himself as a father, as an Olympian, a wonderful public speaker. He instills enthusiasm in people. He’s gifted.”

Jenner was reportedly working on a docu-series to address his transition from male to female. In the aftermath of a car accident involving Jenner that left one woman dead, the series has been halted. Radar Online reports that Jenner’s network, E!, supports the change in schedule.

“Obviously, [the docu-series is] not the priority right now, given the severity of the situation that Bruce is facing. From a public relations standpoint, it would also be in very poor taste to be filming a reality show after Bruce was involved in the crash.”

Mettler told The Daily Mail she had no detailed information about the fatal crash.

“We will see what happens with the crash, people are saying a lot of different things. I have no idea what actually happened.”

The victim of the crash, Kim Howe, was a neighbor of the Kardashian family.

People reported Saturday that Jenner has moved out of his home in Malibu to a private ranch. The move was already in the works as Jenner is seeking more privacy. The new property is said to be a 3,500 square-foot home situated on 11 acres. Jenner was spotted with a mountain of belongings in the back of a pickup truck and son Brandon, a regular presence on the Kardashian reality series, was helping out.

Jenner has received words of support from celebrity circles on his reported transition. Oscar nominee Patricia Arquette spoke out strongly in Jenner’s favor and lambasted disrespectful media on its handling of the issue.
