Erich Nowsch Says Of Road Rage Shooting, ‘They Were After Me, And I Got Them’

Since Erich Nowsch was taken into police custody, more information has been released to the public about the bizarre incident that led to the death of Tammy Meyers.

Prior to his arrest on Friday, police honed in on Erich due to his weak alibi. According to investigators, 19-year-old Nowsch also spent a great deal of time bragging to friends about being a part of the deadly shooting. The violent confrontation is said to have occurred last week following a road rage incident that may or may not have involved Erich Nowsch.

At first, the public was led to believe that Meyers was killed immediately after a scary run in with an angry driver unknown to the family. However, days after she was taken off life support, the Meyers family revealed that she came home for her son, Brandon Meyers. Brandon grabbed a weapon and the two reportedly went looking for the person in a silver sedan connected to the road rage confrontation.

If this weren’t disturbing enough, an even larger bombshell dropped when Erich Nowsch was arrested.

Apparently the suspect was not only known to the Meyers, but according to Robert, Tammy’s husband, his wife was something of a mentor to the troubled teen.

“[Tammy fed Erich], she gave him money … she told him to pull his pants up and be a man.”

If this was indeed true, then the day of the incident seemed to serve as a breaking point for the mother of four. Her daughter claimed that the suspect connected to the road rage incident said, “I’m gonna come back for you and your daughter.” It was this threat that supposedly spurred Tammy to get her son and try to find the person in question, which police believe is Erich Nowsch.

However, given the fact that the Meyers reportedly knew this suspect and where he lived (a mere block away), some are struggling to understand this action and if the road rage incident is indeed tied to the shooting. Instead, it’s looking increasingly like a separate incident.

Nowsch is said to have admitted that he followed the Meyers to their home after they followed him. He also accused someone in their car of waving a gun at him and threatening him. Friends of Erich Nowsch told investigators that he bragged about being part of a shootout.

“Got those kids. They were after me, and I got them.”

Erich Nowsch has since been charged with murder, attempted murder, and the illegal discharge of a gun. He is expected to make his first appearance in court on Monday.
