Demi Lovato’s Beau Wilmer Valderrama Says He’s Looking Forward To Getting Engaged, Demi Says She Wants More Happy Years Together

Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama aren’t engaged yet, but it seems as if it’s just a matter of time. At unite4:good’s unite4humanity gala at the Beverly Hilton hotel on Thursday night, Wilmer told E! News that he’s looking forward to getting engaged to Demi some time in the future, making clear that he definitely sees Demi as a person he may want to spend the rest of his life with.

“We’re not engaged. But you know it’s something that I definitely look forward to in the future. We’ll see. You know, who knows?”

If Demi has her way, the two may very well get engaged before the end of the year. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, a source said that Demi has been telling people that she wants an engagement ring soon.

“No one will be shocked if the two of them were to get engaged soon, as she’s stated several times she wants it to happen in 2015.”

Demi Lovato hasn’t been shy about sharing with everyone how much she loves Wilmer Valderrama. A day after Valentine’s Day, Demi declared Wilmer to be “the BEST Valentine.”

About three weeks ago, Wilmer thanked Demi for helping him have a great birthday. He called her his “sweet angel.”

On his birthday, Demi posted a collage of her and Wilmer through the years, starting from 2010. She declared that she wants “many more incredible years together.”

Demi has credited Wilmer with helping her stay healthy rather than going back to destructive ways. In an interview with Fitness Magazine for its January 2015 issue, Demi admitted that Wilmer called her out on her eating disorder.

“It’s been difficult. I almost went back to rehab for my eating disorder last summer. I was obsessing over food and terrified of it at the same time. Wilmer noticed and called me out on it, which was a relief.”

Besides her health, Demi Lovato also has Wilmer Valderrama to thank for her friendship with ex Joe Jonas. In October, 2014, Demi told Entertainment Tonight that Wilmer, whom she described as “one of the most incredible people on the planet,” encouraged her to be friends with Joe and was actually the one to suggest that they reunite on stage for a duet performance the month prior.
