Jessa Duggar Pregnancy Rumors: Cousin Amy Knows The Truth, Jessa’s Weight Issues Revealed
Jessa Duggar finally answered the question that so many 19 Kids and Counting fans want to know the answer to: Is she pregnant?
The reality show star keeps talking about starting a family, and her fans are feverishly looking for any signs of a baby bump. Jill Duggar got pregnant with a “honeymoon baby,” so many 19 Kids and Counting viewers are expecting her younger sister to do the same thing. However, cousin Amy recently said that Jessa and husband Ben Seewald aren’t in any rush to have children.
During an interview with Radar Online, Amy Duggar revealed that she has talked to Jessa Duggar about the persistent pregnancy rumors.
“I recently saw her and said, ‘Hey girl, do you have a bun in the oven?’ She said, ‘Haha no!'”
Some 19 Kids and Counting fans might think it’s possible that Jessa was fibbing to Amy because she wants to hold off on a pregnancy announcement until it can be documented by TLC’s cameras. However, it’s likely that Jessa is telling the truth — surely a Duggar wouldn’t commit a sin by lying.
Amy told Radar that Jessa Duggar is very amused by the rumors about her womb, and it could be a while before any of these baby rumors turn out to be true.
“She is just so happy with Ben right now, there’s no rush,” Amy said.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jessa Duggar recently said that she and Ben want to have a very large family, and they’re even considering using adoption to make it grow faster. Amy applauded Jessa’s decision to adopt, and she said that she would like to do the same someday. It looks like Jessa might be starting a positive new Duggar family trend.
Even though Jessa has confirmed that she isn’t pregnant, there are those who are convinced that she already has a bun in the oven. According to E! Online, her own little sister Jordyn is one of these people. Unfortunately, Jordyn’s comments about Jessa’s nonexistent baby bump may be giving the older Duggar daughter body image issues.
“She asked if I was pregnant, and I said, ‘No, I’m not,'” Jessa told People. “And then she said, ‘Well, you look pregnant!'”
According to Ben Seewald, Jordyn’s words caused an argument about Jessa’s body.
“We fight about this. Jessa thinks she’s fat, but she doesn’t remember all the times people tell her that she looks great,” Ben said. “Her sister is used to people in the family getting married and being pregnant right away. Of course she’s going to look at Jessa and says she’s pregnant.”
Maybe Jessa is so enthusiastic about adoption because she worries so much about her weight.
