Drone Pilot Finds “River of Blood” Outside Meatpacking Plant

A drone enthusiast was flying one of his toys near a Texas Meatpacking plant and got to really find out how the spy business works. The Drone picked up a long “river of blood” coming out of the plant and running to the Trinity River. It is thought that the river comes from the slaughter of pigs which comes form in the plant.

The Pilot tells sUAS News,

“I was looking at images after the flight that showed a blood red creek and was thinking, could this really be what I think it is? Can you really do that, surely not?. Whatever it is, it was flat out gross. Then comes the question of who do I report this to that can find out what it is and where it is coming from.”

The pilot asked to remain anonymous but was put in touch with the Texas Environmental Crimes Task Force. He reported what he saw and the photos taken by his pilotless drone.

Health and Human Services chief Zach Thompson told sUAS News,

“Any time there is some type of discharge into the Trinity River… especially from an environmental standpoint, this is a real concern. I think they discovered a secondary pipe again is my understanding, so the question is who installed the pipe and why was it there.”

The drone pilot said that the drone he was piloting has a small cheap camera on board secure with an airframe. He was not very hapy with what he saw and hopes that his report to police will help the plant get in line.

How disgusting is the “River of Blood“?
